Weld RE-5J District Athletics, where athletes from elementary to high school levels participate in an exciting path of growth and accomplishment. While our elementary school athletic programs may not be extensive, we are thankful for local opportunities, and some of our elementary schools offer after-school options. Middle school marks a transformative phase in the athletic journey. Here, our young athletes level up their skills, develop resilience, and cultivate a deep love for physical activity. Our high school athletics further prepare athletes for success beyond the field. Teamwork is the cornerstone of our approach, with parents and families playing an essential role in creating an environment where every child can thrive. CIVICA Colorado College and Career Academies, a vital middle/high school addition (grades 6-12) for the Johnstown-Milliken School District (RE-5J) Board of Education. Anticipating 135 students in grades 6-9 for our inaugural 2020 school year, we’ve seen significant community interest, with over 200 students expressing intent to enroll, representing more than 50% of our initial enrollment goal, and planning for eventual expansion to 630 students across three tracks.
